BENEFITS
HEALTH INSURANCE
Health insurance is available to employees working at least 30 hours per week. Employees may choose between a PPO or HMO plan. Eligibility begins on the first of the month following 90 days of employment. Three tiers of coverage are available: Employee only, Employee + one dependent, Employee + family.
DENTAL INSURANCE
Dental insurance is available to employees working at least 30 hours per week. Employees may choose either a plan that pays for dental services based on a fee schedule, or a plan that pays a percentage of dental services. Eligibility begins on the first of the month following 90 days of employment. Three tiers of coverage are available: Employee only, Employee + one dependent, Employee + family.
VISION INSURANCE
Vision insurance is available to employees working at least 30 hours per week. The plan pays for vision services and contacts/glasses based on a fee schedule. Eligibility begins on the first of the month following 90 days of employment. Three tiers of coverage are available: Employee only, Employee + one dependent, Employee + family.
LIFE/AD&D INSURANCE
A life insurance policy equivalent to one times an employee’s salary provided at no cost. Additional life insurance and accidental death & dismemberment coverage is also available.
PAID DAYS OFF (PDO)
New employees begin accruing paid days off after 90 days of employment. Accrual rates increase after five, ten, and fifteen years of employment.
401(K)
Participation in the 401(k) plan is available after six months of employment. This is available to employees who work at least 1000 hours per calendar. PRL’s profit sharing plan allows for a match of 50 cents for every $1.00 an employee contributes, up to 6% of his/her salary.
FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNTS
Employees with 90 days of service prior to January 1 or July 1 may set aside earnings on a pre-tax basis for unreimbursed health care and/or dependent care expenses.
TUITION ASSISTANCE
Eligible employees may receive up to $2000 per calendar year in reimbursement for career-related college coursework.
EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (EAP)
Free, short-term counseling is available for employees and their immediate family members. Service is provided by an independent group of licensed, masters or doctoral level psychologists, clinically trained social workers and/or licensed professional counselors. All information discussed in with an EAP counselor is strictly confidential.
LABORATORY TESTING
Physician-ordered laboratory testing is available at no charge to the employee and legal dependents (spouse or children).
